Twentieth Century Fox 9000J Film Scoring Console

It was a $1.3 million dollar 9000J when new. The Fox console is virtually identical to the console from Todd AO that was installed at our Record One Studio in Sherman Oaks it has every option you can imagine, an exceptional selection of spares including 4 complete input modules and an exceptionally large patch bay.

The producer desks can be removed on either side to reduce the footprint to 17 feet 8 inches. If needed the wings can also be easily removed further reducing the overall size to less than 16 feet

In my view compared to anything currently being manufactured by SSL, the 9000J has a superior sounding EQ and way more functionality including more inputs, more bussing, more sends and a better and more sophisticated automation system. Plus there is the added benefit of SSL 7.1 film monitor system on this particular console.
