9-pin Adapter

The 9-Pin adapter interfaces a Nuendo digital audio workstation with any audio or video device supporting the Sony 9-Pin protocol. The 9-Pin adapter simply converts the RS-232 signal of the computers serial port into the more commonly used RS-422 format found on most professional video/audio decks. This type of communication is typically used in post-production studios for synchronization and software control of a video deck(s) using a DAW such as Nuendo. Sony 9-Pin compatible digital multitrack recorders commonly found in music and post studios can also utilize the 9-Pin Adapter making it a perfect addition to any professional or project studio. The following functions are available for remote software control using Nuendo's standard Transport control buttons (& or key commands):
