Technicians report:
This console is presently located in a film mixing theatre. It's center section has been upgraded by John Musgrave, and is suitable for mixing 5.1 and 7.1 surround as well as stereo. The upgrade also features a superior mix and monitor path and is extremely clean inside and out. The 72 input channels have had the electrolytic capacitors changed twice, the second time with Panasonic NHE capacitors. All work on these modules has been of the very highest quality. There is one obvious mod to the channel strip, A switch to enable 5.1/7.1 positioning (panning). There will be a space in the fader section where a Time Line KCU will be removed and a 19 by 4RU hole in the center section where the Magnatech 9F biphase frame counter will be removed. There is a 5.1/7.1 processor/panner that will be left in the console. As it stands the console is 14' 5" wide. The center section is much wider than a stock V3. It includes all the 5.1/7.1/stereo mixing and monitoring functions along with a 3 speaker selector. Also in the center section, custom sections for chosing interlock busses, record events for film recorders and a few other film only features. This console has done the sound track for many feature films and is maybe the best sounding V3 I have seen to date. The height of the console is 3'6" to the top of the meter bridge 4'7" deep. The logical split is at 7'9" from the left, the original split was at 9'4 ½". All the meters, busses, channels are in very good working condition. There are four complete working spare modules as well as spare dynamics and eq cards. It has complete manuals and extenders as well as the original spare parts kit. The power supplies are the latest vintage. The automation is good and all works and there are spare parts and a drive for that also.

Computer:

This is a very usable rack mounted "mini" similar to (electrically) an SSL E computer with 8" floppy drives. This system takes up an entire 6' high 19" rack.
